Audio Delivery Guide
Supported Audio Format
The Wisdome Stockholm system supports 7.1 surround audio for fulldome films.
Playback in the dome is handled through a Meyer Sound 9.1.1 Dante/AVB system, but film delivery should be in 7.1 format.
Extended configurations, such as 9.1.1 spatial mixes or access to additional speakers located in the entrance and exit areas of the dome, are technically possible but not yet standardized. Projects intending to use these channels require special coordination, custom routing, and on-site testing to ensure compatibility with the playback environment
Audio Files
Each channel must be delivered as a separate WAV file.
Filenames must clearly identify the corresponding channel.

Technical Specifications
File format: WAV (uncompressed PCM, 24-bit recommended)
Sample rate: 48 kHz or higher
Channel separation: Each file must contain one channel only (not interleaved)
Length: All files must be exactly the same duration and synchronized frame-by-frame with the image sequence
Embedded Audio (Video Container)
A fully mixed soundtrack embedded in a video container (e.g. MOV or MP4) can often be used without issue up to 5.1.
However, 7.1 or higher must always be delivered as discrete audio files.
Sync and Versioning
Filenames and metadata should match the image sequence naming convention (e.g. _8K60_).
For review and testing, a low-resolution MP4 (H.264 or H.265) with embedded stereo or 5.1 audio may also be delivered.
